Pead has great athleticism and explosion through the hole. He is elusive in the open field and can definitely break some big gains in the NFL. However, as a pass blocker, he is absolutely horrid. He also does not break a lot of tackles despite his great speed: once hit, he falls down most times. Pead is big enough to be a change of pace back, but he probably cannot play every down.

Pead, at the very least, should be a capable third down back in the NFL. Best case, he finds some Jamaal Charles mojo and becomes an elite change of pace guy. I could also see him become a wide receiver/flex option, like C.J. Spiller, due to his hands and ability in the passing game.

Compares to (Current NFL Player): Mewelde Moore

Strengths
- Great burst through the hole
- Capable as a pass catcher
- Extremely elusive in the open field
- Really skinny through the hole

Weaknesses
- Inept as a pass blocker
- Plays in untraditional offense
- Does not break a lot of tackles
- May not have requisite bulk for next level
