Darryl Johnson: 1.17 TFLs per Game, top two in his draft class. AJ Epenesa: .97 TFLs per Game. Our new EDGE, Rousseau's 1.39 TFLs per game led the entire EDGE class, and his tackles per game did too. Sample size was small; he only had a year as a starter, but it resulted in 15.5 sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss. At 6-foot-7 and 266, Rousseau's upside is through the roof --Julius Peppers' roof. He has personality that earned my A++ Inteview award for EDGEs, Rousseau only had one big year , so not the games played Beane usually looks for. Make no mistake; this pick is for the future. Rousseau is the top pure edge rusher in this year's class.

Boogie Basham is a Buffalo Bill. Now I know BillsMafia was expecting Iffy or Creed, but hear me out; the Bills' DL now has two of the top three EDGE rushers in tackles for loss and tackles per game, both tops in the ACC. They learned the formula for taking down the Chiefs and Bucs, and it's pressure. Speaking of pressure, Beane's taking the team's most expensive position room and bringing it way down to afford Josh Allen and Tremaine Edmunds. Boogie's a great interview; listen here. -Dean Kindig, Bills Analyst

I honestly thought I'd hear Iffy, or Molden here, but Beane is serious about giving Dane Jackson a chance to start opposite Tre White. Spencer K Brown The top FCS Tackle is now a Bill, and he loves pancakes. His tremendous arm strength (500 lbs Bench Press) is helpful in re-arranging the defensive line in front of you while getting to the second level. I'm putting him in a competition for RT. Brown has the ballerina feet (a converted tight end, like former Bills OT Jason Peters), excellent mobility and great speed (4.84 forty leads all OTs) to get to the perimeter on pulls and screens. His anchor is great which, when paired with his arm strength, makes you an immovable object, even when confronted with an irresistible force. Brown likely offers a succession plan for Daryl Williams. This will be a no-nonsense OL with some depth for Bobby Johnson to teach. The Bills normally bring 16 OL to camp, and they only had 11 after signing 2 turnstiles and a Guard in Free Agency. I'll get over this "Iffy" pick.

BILLS HISTORICAL DRAFT PICKS
Reach/Value (R/V) Explained
The difference between where a player is selected in the NFL draft versus where the player was listed on the final Drafttek Big Board for the season in question.Example: A player who was listed at #50 on the Big Board and was selected at #35 will be a "Reach" of -15. Alternately, a player listed at #35 on the Big Board who was selected at #50 is a +15 "Value".
Simply put: a positive number is a Value pick, a negative number is a Reach.
