SHOCKER! The Cardinals surprise most and go with a linebacker. With some good corners and other positions of need still on the board, instead opting for the coverage and playmaking ability of Zaven Collins. The Tulsa 'backer showed great production as a three-year starter and displayed some great awareness over the middle that helped him win the Bronko Nagurski and Chuck Bednarik Awards as the nation's best defender. He should suffice for Arizona, though he still needs work on his pursuit angles and tackling.
Still, the pick is an unexpected one to say the least, with a glaring hole still at cornerback after the departure of Patrick Peterson and with Caleb Farley and Asante Samuel Jr. still on the board. GM Steve Keim obviously didn't like the surviving options there and thought better of it. In any case, the Cardinals still have plenty of time, though they now have just one more selection remaining until #160, so expect more moves to come.

Big things come in small packages. Rondale Moore will provide yet another weapon for Kyler Murray on an explosive Cardinals offense. There are some questions about his ability to make an impact with his small size, but Steve Keim and Co. obviously aren-t concerned. His speed and smooth route-running should more than make up for his measurements.
While Moore is a good pick, Cornerback remains a big elephant in the room for the Cardinals, who are now without a pick until the fifth round.

CARDINALS HISTORICAL DRAFT PICKS
Reach/Value (R/V) Explained
The difference between where a player is selected in the NFL draft versus where the player was listed on the final Drafttek Big Board for the season in question.Example: A player who was listed at #50 on the Big Board and was selected at #35 will be a "Reach" of -15. Alternately, a player listed at #35 on the Big Board who was selected at #50 is a +15 "Value".
Simply put: a positive number is a Value pick, a negative number is a Reach.
