Toney adds to the WR stable already improved by the addition of Kenny Golladay. With all the Giants' elite targets (WRs, CBs) off the board at #11, the move down was excellent by Gettleman after DeVonta Smith was poached by the Eagles. All the prospects that Gettleman would have considered at #11 were available at #20, perhaps with the exception of Jaelan Phillips.
Let's talk about what Kadarius Toney can do. He's a freak athlete: vertical of 40 inches (90th percentile), broad jump of 136 inches (99th percentile) and a 4.41-second 40. Toney is fast and explosive. Toney will probably contribute immediately as a returner for the Giants, as they work him into the WR spot a little more slowly, though his 83.3% reception/target rate was one of the best in CFB.

Azeez Ojulari is a very raw prospect with a ton of untapped potential. The descendant from Nigerian royalty, was viewed as a potential first-round target for the Giants, but knee issues drove his stock down. He has a great combination of size and speed, as well as the ability to do just about everything. The last two years, Ojulari has 18.5 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, and five forced fumbles. He also had 35 total pressures in 2020.

The Giants landed an intriguing rotation piece for their defensive backfield with Central Florida's Aaron Robinson. He's tall and rangy, yet plays a ton in the slot. He also hits and tackles well enough to possibly play a Safety role at some point. That of course leads to the question of where he actually fits, but he has time to work his way into a rotation role as they Giants aren't desperate for corners. Grade: B-

GIANTS HISTORICAL DRAFT PICKS
Reach/Value (R/V) Explained
The difference between where a player is selected in the NFL draft versus where the player was listed on the final Drafttek Big Board for the season in question.Example: A player who was listed at #50 on the Big Board and was selected at #35 will be a "Reach" of -15. Alternately, a player listed at #35 on the Big Board who was selected at #50 is a +15 "Value".
Simply put: a positive number is a Value pick, a negative number is a Reach.
