I'm a bit shocked by this one. The Browns made Denzel Ward the top-paid corner in football recently, and have taken Greg Newsome and Greedy Williams with top-50 picks in two of the last three drafts. You can never have enough good corners, and Emerson has exceptional length with 33.5 -inch arms. Just thought: a linebacker, edge rusher or wide receiver made more sense with an early third-round pick. Grade: C-

Wright is a tall, raw pass rusher with terrific arm length at 34 inches. Cleveland is going to have to show some patience with him, and the best-case scenario as a rookie would be Wright earning snaps as a pass-rush specialist. Still, the potential is high, and considering Myles Garrett is on the other side, the reward could be a dynamic pass-rush duo. Grade: B+

Bell is a polished wide receiver that has great body control and ball skills. He gets clean releases off the snap and leverages his routes to get good separation that helps him overcome average athleticism and size. Despite a slow 40 time at the Combine, this is a reliable target that knows how to make himself available for his quarterback.
I thought he'd go late in the third round, and the Browns are happy to add him as part of their rebuild of the receiving core. Grade: B+

BROWNS HISTORICAL DRAFT PICKS
Reach/Value (R/V) Explained
The difference between where a player is selected in the NFL draft versus where the player was listed on the final Drafttek Big Board for the season in question.Example: A player who was listed at #50 on the Big Board and was selected at #35 will be a "Reach" of -15. Alternately, a player listed at #35 on the Big Board who was selected at #50 is a +15 "Value".
Simply put: a positive number is a Value pick, a negative number is a Reach.
