The 49ers added Kemeko Turay on a one-year deal, but a still looking for a long-term solution opposite Nick Bosa. Drake Jackson has the length, speed and bend to be great as a pass rusher, but his game is a little unrefined.
In San Francisco he'll have time to add some bulk and functional strength, as well as nuance to his game while contributing on a rotational basis as a rookie.

After losing Raheem Morris to free agency and spending considerable time meeting with RBs in the lead up to the draft, it was only a matter of time before the Niners expanded their ground attack. It feels a bit early, considering the need at interior OL, but with Parham off the board, the value was iffy.
Ty Davis-Price displays the vision and burst to excel in Shanahan's system and makes a good running mate for Eli Mitchell, but could cast a shadow over 2021 RD 3 pick Trey Sermon's future.

Even with Deebo Samuel still in the fold, the 49ers have been on the lookout for help at WR. Danny Gray checks all the boxes, with 4.3 speed, excellent run after catch ability and of course special teams versatility.
Gray can rack up the YAC, and is a tough tackle, but his game could use some polish. He'll contribute as a rookie with a chance to grow into a more prominent role.
