PHI g NO (2022 Draft trade)
The Eagles were a something of a surprise playoff team in 2021, but their 31-15 dismantling at the hands of the, then defending champion Buccaneers, made clear they had plenty of work to do to make it back to the Super Bowl. Over the past few months, the Eagles have made been busy making major moves to address key areas, including the splashy free-agent addition of pass-rusher Haason Reddick, a top tier draft class led by versatile DT Jordan Davis, the blockbuster draft-day trade for WR AJ Brown and the more recent signing of CB James Bradberry to fill the spot opposite Darius Slay.
PFF recently ranked the Eagles' offensive line as #1 in the league, so the pressure will be on third-year QB Jalen Hurts to take the next step. Hurts has flashed a ton of talent and now has the roster around him to truly shine.
Looking ahead to the 2023 draft, RB could be a position to keep an eye on. It's fair to question whether Howie Roseman would ever use a RD 1 pick on a RB (probably not), but with multiple selections in RD 1, and Miles Sanders set to hit free agency Philly might be tempted by a particularly special prospect like Bijan Robinson. Robinson can get physical inside, beat you to the corner outside and he's got the route running and hands to be a true threat out of the backfield.

One area Philadelphia was not able to address over the course of their impressive offseason, was at Safety. After being linked to several big-name free agents this offseason the Eagles ultimately decided they were comfortable moving forward with Anthony Harris and Marcus Epps as their presumptive starters in 2022. While there's some question about how Epps will handle promotion to a starting role; both Harris and Epps are scheduled to be free agents following the 2022 season.
While there is a positional value argument to be made against taking a Safety this high, the need and talent available could create a situation too good to pass up. Philly could reunite Georgia Safety Christopher Smith II with his college teammates Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean, giving the Eagles a former Bulldog at all three levels on defense.

EAGLES HISTORICAL DRAFT PICKS
Reach/Value (R/V) Explained
The difference between where a player is selected in the NFL draft versus where the player was listed on the final Drafttek Big Board for the season in question.Example: A player who was listed at #50 on the Big Board and was selected at #35 will be a "Reach" of -15. Alternately, a player listed at #35 on the Big Board who was selected at #50 is a +15 "Value".
Simply put: a positive number is a Value pick, a negative number is a Reach.
