The Bears slip down another spot and pick up a 2024 RD4 pick from the Eagles, to select OT Darnell Wright. Wright is a pure right tackle and should slide right in to start week 1. Peter Skoronski was still on the board, so Wright is a surprising pick ahead of the Northwestern star. Wright, at 333 lbs, has athletic limitations, but he makes up for that with strength and power.

The Tennessee Tackle will have to work on his technique to cement a spot on a Bears' line that will need more help in later rounds. A pick at a position of need, but definitely a reach.

Grade: B-

The rich get richer as the Eagles continue their collection of former Georgia Bulldogs, adding pass rusher Nolan Smith. After being connected to the Eagles at pick 10, Smith ends up with a longer wait, but still lands in the perfect spot. Joining a pass rush rotation with Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat, and Haason Reddick, gives Smith a great group of mentors, and offensive coordinators another nightmare to keep them up at night.

Grade: A+

With the defensive front sufficently stocked the Philadelphia switches to the offensive side to add Alabama's Tyler Steen. Steen was announced as a gaurd and that is likely his best position as a pro, but he played Tackle in college and has enough length and athleticism to at least get you through a game if not more on the outside.

Grade: B+

After losing both starting safeties to free agency the Eagles were always likely to address the position in the draft (even with the addition of Terrell Edmonds and Justin Evans.) Sydney Brown is an undersized but well built Safety who flies to the football and excels at reading the defense and breaking up plays in the backfield. A great addition to the group and can make an immediate impact.
