The Washington Commanders are about to embark on their first season under their brand new moniker and look, and yet all of the news surrounding the team focuses on Dan Snyder. It's clear that Snyder has enemies everywhere. Even his colleagues, the other 31 NFL owners, have expressed interest in getting him out. A decade ago, DC, Maryland, and Virginia would be in the midst of a bidding war to build the Redskins' new stadium. The fact that Snyder can't find anyone to do business with him shows you just how far this once-vaunted franchise has fallen. Beyond removing Snyder, how does the team attempt to return to being one of the world's preeminent sports franchises?
Winning.
Whether winning can ever be consistent with Snyder at the top is in question, but Ron Rivera and Co. are convinced they have the roster to compete right away. The majority of the team's draft picks were seniors and/or captains and are ready to play right away. The team also overpaid for Carson Wentz, but the cost may never be too high to get a real signal-caller in your building, and that's exactly what the Commanders did. Wentz is undoubtedly the most talented quarterback on the roster since RGIII and will likely be the most productive quarterback since Kirk Cousins. If Wentz puts up a 27-7 TD/INT ratio, this 20th-ish ranked offense could explode.

COMMANDERS HISTORICAL DRAFT PICKS
Reach/Value (R/V) Explained
The difference between where a player is selected in the NFL draft versus where the player was listed on the final Drafttek Big Board for the season in question.Example: A player who was listed at #50 on the Big Board and was selected at #35 will be a "Reach" of -15. Alternately, a player listed at #35 on the Big Board who was selected at #50 is a +15 "Value".
Simply put: a positive number is a Value pick, a negative number is a Reach.
