The worst-kept secret in sports has finally been revealed. Caleb Williams is the Bears' new QB! Williams takes his elite talents to Chicago where he'll have the pleasure of linking up with an impressive group of offensive playmakers. Most QBs selected at #1 land with a poor team, but Williams is fortunate. This is a team with high expectations in 2024 after winning 4 of their last 6 games in 2023. With the USC star steering the ship in Shane Waldron's offense, the sky is the limit.

Concerns over Williams' character have subsided; there's no doubt he was liked by teammates and USC coach, Lincoln Riley. Williams' leadership will be tested as he tries to take the Bears to a rare NFC North crown and back to the playoffs for the first time since 2020. There are no guarantees with any draft pick, but Williams seems as close to a sure thing as there is. Coach Eberflus will certainly be hoping that Williams can bring instant success or he may be coaching elsewhere in 2025.

After the inevitable selection of Caleb Williams at #1, the Bears provide their new QB with more offensive firepower. Washington's Rome Odunze joins Keenan Allen and D.J. Moore to form one of the best receiving corps in the league. The board has fallen perfectly for Chicago; Odunze would have been the #1 receiver in most other years. The offense should be dynamic in 2024; Caleb Williams should, as long as he stays healthy, be the first 4000-yard passer in team history.

Odunze is a playmaker with safe hands and the ability to separate smoothly. Odunze's elite body control allows him to win contested catches (just ask Michael Penix Jr.). At 6-3 and 212 lbs, and with noticeable strength, Odunze will be a nightmare for opposing CBs to defend. Even though he's still only 21. Odunze has 4-years of college experience, 2 of which with over 1000 receiving yards. The former Huskie may lack elite speed, but that should not detract from what could be an all-pro career. Grade: A+

The difference between where a player is selected in the NFL draft versus where the player was listed on the final Drafttek Big Board for the season in question.
Example: A player who was listed at #50 on the Big Board and was selected at #35 will be a "Reach" of -15. Alternately, a player listed at #35 on the Big Board who was selected at #50 is a +15 "Value".

Simply put: a positive number is a Value pick, a negative number is a Reach.
