Up until about Pick 20, it felt like the draft couldn’t have broken any better for the Packers. From there, it felt Green Bay got a little complacent and may have missed an opportunity to trade up for a top CB (Quinyon Mitchell or Terrion Arnold) or OT (Troy Fautanu) without giving up more than an additional RD3 pick.

Instead, the Packers stood pat and took Jordan Morgan, who seems to fit everything Green Bay looks for in an offensive lineman but is a bit of a reach at #40 on our Big Board. Morgan is a three-year starter with 37 starts at left tackle, but his sub 33” arms may foreshadow a move to guard. Morgan has allowed just three sacks and 31 pressures on 920 pass blocks reps over the past two seasons, but he was credited with just one blown block in the run game over the last two years. Morgan could immediately challenge Rasheed Walker at left tackle, with the loser getting bounced to a right guard battle with Sean Rhyan. Grade: B+

While it was heartbreaking to see Cooper DeJean come off the board at Pick 40, Green Bay traded down and addressed one of their major needs with LB Edgerrin Cooper. Cooper sports a 9.13 RAS, and paired with Quay Walker will give the Packers one of the most athletic LB tandems in the league. After leading Texas A&M in tackles (83), TFL (17), sacks (8), and FFs (2), DC Jeff Hafley will be hoping Cooper can deliver splash plays for Green Bay's new 4-3 defense. Grade: A-

The Packers addressed another huge need, adding an interchangeable safety in Georgia's Javon Bullard. Bullard earned an 88.4 coverage grade from PFF last season. QBs had a passer rating of just 34.0 when throwing his way. Bullard also packs a punch and missed just 7 tackles on 65 attempts (10.8%). Though undersized, he has the speed, explosion, and instincts to be a playmaker all over the secondary. Grade: A+
