This seems like a bit of a disappointing scenario with all six quarterbacks gone; yet, how can you be disappointed with a player like Bowers. I could make a case that there isn't a roster in the NFL that couldn't insert him into a prominent role. He is a player could transform the dynamics of an offense. He's that versatile.
Bowers reminds me of Aaron Hernandez on the field, as a guy that can line up anywhere in the formation and be a weapon. I'm not sure who is going to throw Bowers the ball (possibly, in another year, the Raiders will draft Carson Beck), but he's going to make that guys job a lot easier. Grade: B+

Injury concerns caused Powers-Johnson to slide a bit, but it appears the Raiders were comfortable with his medicals. If he's healthy, this is another great value... just like Bowers in RD1. I like what the Raiders are doing. Did they want a quarterback? I'm sure they did. But, this team isn't a quarterback away from being a serious contender. They are simply making their roster better by taking the best player available, and that is how you build a roster. Grade: A-
