After using the 2024 Draft to aggressively address their anemic secondary and hitting home runs on both RD 1 pick Quinyon Mitchell and RD 2 pick Cooper DeJean, the Eagles find themselves back in the playoffs as the NFC's 2 seed. In addition to their promising young rookies the Eagles also owe their 14-3 record to a breakout performance from free agent acquisition LB Zach Baun, and of course superstar RB Saquon Barkley; who nearly broke the single season rushing record his first season in Philadelphia.
Clearing the way for Barkley has been the Eagles excellent offensive line, that hasn't missed a beat with Cam Jurgens taking over at Center following Jason Kelce's retirement last year. Jurgens is just the latest example of the Eagles working to stay ahead of impending needs, especially along the offensive line. With that in mind, this could be the year we see the Eagles look to find Lane Johnson's eventual successor at RT.
The 2025 draft class features a deep pool of talent along the offensive line, but on the surface lacks 'elite' tackle prospects. One of the more interesting names is OT Aireontae Ersery. A three-year starter at Minnesota, Ersery is shockingly agile for being listed at 6'6" and 330 lbs. Under the tutelage of Eagle's offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, with Johnson as a mentor, it's easy to see Ersery becoming Philly's next offensive lineman success story.

EAGLES HISTORICAL DRAFT PICKS
Reach/Value (R/V) Explained
The difference between where a player is selected in the NFL draft versus where the player was listed on the final Drafttek Big Board for the season in question.Example: A player who was listed at #50 on the Big Board and was selected at #35 will be a "Reach" of -15. Alternately, a player listed at #35 on the Big Board who was selected at #50 is a +15 "Value".
Simply put: a positive number is a Value pick, a negative number is a Reach.
