Through 4 games the Eagles are allowing 237 pass yards per game, 6th most in the NFL. Philadelphia enters their week 5 bye looking worse than their 2-2 record. Injuries have certainly played a factor with top WRs AJ Brown and Devonta Smith both out for Week 4's drubbing by the Buccaneers, along with All-Pro RT Lane Johnson.
Despite spending their first two picks in the 2024 draft on the secondary the Eagles may be tempted to return there with their first pick in 2025 if their struggles against the pass continue.
Though pass rush help would also be welcome, the best player on the board here is Georgia Safety Malaki Starks. A ball hawk, with high-end cover skills and sure tackling, Starks has been a playmaker since his freshman year with the Bulldogs and is only getting better. He'd be an easy fit in Fangio's defense.
