2025 Draft Grade: B
The Jaguars made the splash move in the 2025 Draft just as fans we're settling in. Will Travis Hunter be the two-way playmaker that GM James Gladstone hoped for wihen he selected the Colorado star? Perhaps so, but being on the field twice as long means there is twice the opportunity for injury. By starting Hunter at two positions leaves the team needing two players in the event that Hunter goes down. Still, if Hunter can play even a few two-way games full-time, it will be glorious to watch.
On Day 2 Gladstone added versatile Guard/Tackle Wyatt Milum to the OL stable in RD3 - a nice pick. Also in RD3 the team added Safety Caleb Ransaw, who Drafttek saw as a bit of a reach at a position where the team is relatively well stocked. Even if Hunter stays healthy and locks down both WR and CB, the team is still deficient at both those positions. Ransaw however did play CB at Tulane, and offers versatility (that word again).
On Day 3 the Jags grabbed their guy in the loaded 2025 RB class. Bhayshul Tuten is a 4.32 speedster with high-grade athletic skills (40.5 vertical). Gladstone also saw fit to add two linebackers, with which the team has fortified a solid front seven. Jack Kiser in RD4 and Jalen McLeod in RD6 will push for playing time and special teams reps.
Looking Ahead to the 2026 Draft
Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter make a nice pairing of wideouts, but behind those two are no-names - did the team really pay $10M to Dyami Brown? With the heightened potential for injury to Hunter, this WR dearth could get ugly fast. And Travis Lawrence no longer has Evan Engram's services as a safety valve. TE Brenton Strange will need to grow up fast. Elsewhere, CB looks shaky with Tyson Campbell who has never played up to his contract and is oft-injured.

JAGUARS HISTORICAL DRAFT PICKS
Reach/Value (R/V) Explained
The difference between where a player is selected in the NFL draft versus where the player was listed on the final Drafttek Big Board for the season in question.Example: A player who was listed at #50 on the Big Board and was selected at #35 will be a "Reach" of -15. Alternately, a player listed at #35 on the Big Board who was selected at #50 is a +15 "Value".
Simply put: a positive number is a Value pick, a negative number is a Reach.
