Coach Dan Campbell's folksy style has created a bit of a family atmosphere around the Detroit Lions, but the team can take it to the next level by adding Oregon LB Noah Sewell to their defensive overhaul. His brother Penei is a stellar OT for the team, and the two previously played together in college. Both brothers have a compelling mix of strength, athleticism and feel for the game, making it look easy while contributing heavily to their team's success.
A punishing hitter, Sewell has a nose for the ball and a knack for getting to the QB. He starred at running back in high school, so he would fit into the gadget-and-go-for-it approach Campbell loves. The Lions need major talent upgrades at linebacker, and they have and value a close-knit locker room. Sewell hasn't shown the pass-coverage chops of some other linebackers, notably Trenton Simpson, but he has the physical talent and his cultural fit in Detroit would be superb.
