2023 NFL Mock Draft

Selection Comment - Pick #24

Return to Mock Draft

Kayshon Boutte

Another week, another comment telling all the Titans' fans the obvious, Tennessee needs a WR. We'll get to that in a minute, but I saw an article I wanted to share. Since the Titans drafted Dillon Radunz in RD 2 in 2021, I've been waiting for him to show what I saw on film in his days at North Dakota State. He deserves to start, and I'm glad someone else finally noticed.

Treylon Burks is back, did you guys see the immediate impact having a real WR had on the Titans offense? Burks missed four full games and is 17 yards away from being the Titans' receiving yards leader. Imagine having another talented WR on the team.

Kayshon Boutte out of LSU is definitely talented, in fact, he may be the most talented WR in the entire 2023 NFL Draft. Why is he slipping to this pick? Injury history and inconsistency. He is coming off a bad leg injury from 2021 and hasn't set the world on fire this season. It's about potential with Boutte. He is an athletic marvel with good hands and route running ability. He's got it all, he just needs to put it all together consistently. I understand feeling a little worried with this pick, but just go watch his 2020 season ending performance against Ole Miss. 14 catches for 308 yards and 3 TDs, that's the kind of potential we're talking about with Boutte.
