Tetairoa McMillan
Without a quarterback anyone could take seriously and playing alongside one of the NFL's best tight ends, Jakobi Meyers still managed a career year. On a lousy roster, WR1 may not seem like the biggest need. However, very few would argue that Meyers is a legit top target, and the passing numbers were fueled by playing from behind and playing with the league's worst rushing offense (by a full 12 yards).
With the Raiders out-of-range of drafting a QB1, a key goal needs to be giving the to-be-decided 2025 signal caller an elite offensive weapon to pair with Bowers and Meyers. Yes, a RB1 is a need as well, but, as good as Ashton Jeanty is, the new head coach would not do himself any favors if he used a #6 selection on the position.
While McMillan is the best choice in this mock, much can change for the Silver & Black. They have to figure out how to acquire a starting caliber QB, who the coach will be, and how they can get Maxx Crosby happy and on board. Mason Graham is another one to watch (imagine a Graham-Wilkins-Crosby-Koonce front four - WOW!).
